My Dying Bride |
My Dying Bride is a British metal band, described as a hybrid out of death metal/gothic and metal/doom metal. The band was founded in 1990. In the 90´s My Dying Bride was one of the ‘Big Three’ in the death/doom- metal scene. The other two bands were Paradise Lost and Anathema.
The band used to make their music not just with guitars and drums but in addition to that they often used violins and pianos/synthesizers. The music is characterized by romantic and sensual song texts and an obsessive attention for atmospherical details.
