The boys from down under seem to rock Wâldrock this year. With Rose Tattoo and Alchemist there are two bands from Australia on stage in Burgum in July and that´s kind of special. Musical they really differ from each other but they should appeal to different generations.

Alchemist is already more than 20 years in the business and after releasing ‘Austral Alien’ they left their boarders behind to visit Europe the first time (a.o. ProgPower). Last year ‘Tripsis’ came out which also contains lot of magnificent songs and artwork by Roy Torkington. This album was the basis for a new tour and again a show at ProgPower, also they played some gratis gigs these days.

This summer the band is going to play at a few festivals as Graspop and Wâldrock to hopefully make a breakthrough to a bigger audience.
