BIOHAZARD, HOLLENTHON, ROSE TATTOO AND SYMPHONY X ON STAGE AT JULY THE 5TH

Pagan's Mind confirmed

The line-up for the upcoming Wâldrockfestival gets bigger and bigger. Now that the symphonic metal band Pagan’s Mind is confirmed, we’re looking even more forward to have a spectacular festival this year. Before the band comes to Bergum they are going to be on a short tour through the UK.

NEW NAMES

Slow but surely the line up for Wâldrock 2008 starts to assume a definite shape. With bands like Biohazard, Hollenthon, Rose Tattoo and Symphony X there are already 16 bands confirmed.
The American hardcore punk band Biohazard is going to play in Burgum with it´s original crew to honour their 20th anniversary. The original band is bassist/singer Evan Seinfield, guitarist/singer Billy Graziadel, drummer Danny Schuler and guitarist Bobby Hambel; they didn’t play a gig together since 1995.
The symphonic black metal band Hollenthon from Austria is after a short break since one and a half year back again on different stages. With a new composition the band is back on tour and is going to promote their new album at Wâldrock, which is going to be released in the next weeks.
Symphony X was founded in 1994; they are famous for playing strong progressive metal. Their last album, called Paradise Lost, was very successful.
Rose Tattoo is a well-known rock band from Australia, which revived in the 80´s together with the rock legends ACDC and The Angels the rock scene down under. After their break-up in 1987 the band played just a few gigs in the 90´s until they definitely decided to go on in 2000. After the death of guitarist ‘Pete Wells’, Dai Pritchard came into the band and they released their current album ‘Blood Brothers’ in the begin of 2007.
Until today the following bands also are going to play at Wâldrock in Burgum this year: Slayer, Queensrÿche, Life of Agony, My Dying Bride, Morbid Angel, Lordi, Death Angel, Alchemist, Forbidden, Helmet, Hail of Bullets, Death by Stereo, Biohazard, Hollenthon, Rose Tattoo, Symphony X.

GREAT REPERTORY
During the 21st edition of Wâldrock 21 bands, arranged on 3 stages, are going to perform. Last year the Wâldrock organisation first chose for a construction with 3 stages to present a great and wide programme to their guests.
This construction appeared to be a big success, so this year it´s again going to be realized in a way like this

 

PRE-SELLING

the pre-selling for Wâldrock already started at www.waldrock.nl, the common pre-sell addresses are in Friesland and Groningen, ticket service and the bigger post offices. In pre-selling the tickets are € 60,- excl. other expenses. At the pay desk on 5th July they’ll be € 67,50
